Mission: The Earthman Project, founded in 1997, uses the power of music, the arts, and interactive web design, to teach children and adults about the gift of life our planet gives us, educate them as to the danger we are in by the destruction of the environment, and inspire them to action. Music, the arts, ad the technology of the web, are very powerful tools to deliver a message locally, nationally, and worldwide. www.TheEarthmanProject.org.The project is led by the North American Association of Environmental Educators Environmental Educator of the Year (2006), and award-winning performing artist and songwriter, Lanny Smith. Lanny is better known as the "Earthman" to more than 2,000,000 children and adults. He has brought together the finest South Florida based musicians, dancers, writers, visual artists, and filmmakers to use their talents in making a difference. Their multi-language 'We've Got The Power' music video PSA has been in heavy rotation on South Florida television. Their new music media "The Earthman Blues" has been seen worldwide on the web.Their inspiring concerts have been to more than 700 festivals and 1000 schools.
