There are many nonprofits out there. Some are good, some are better than good. Only a handfull are outstanding. e-collaborate is truly an outstanding nonprofit. Not only do they have a noble mission, but there staff is smart, competant, and driven. Naina works tirelessly, and does a great job of coordinating the team and moving the mission forward. It is indeed a pleasure to see this non-profit grow, and achieve it's mission. Everybody comes out ahead, especially the students.
My internship with E- collaborate was an eye opening experience. I discovered an amazing organization full of passionate, hardworking people who genuinely care about the world. This program helps people gain awareness about issues in global communities and gives them the opportunity to incorporate compassion into their everyday lives. Working with E-collaborate has not only helped me become aware of my surroundings, but it has also helped me understand the true meaning of empathy. E-collaborate’s foundation for learning professional skills and developing a genuine concern for others is much needed in my generation, and it will help many others just like me.
For a high school student this will be a great experience as I remember during my high school time there was so much of isolation from rest of the world. The virtual internship program fits into that space very well. It will open up a new horizon of learning for school kids. It is important for kids to know what is happening around the world. Once a student takes on the program they will gain valuable experience.
The world has turned into a Global Village kids need to experience it. E-collaborate provides that platform in a very safe & secure way.
It has been a pleasure to work with E-Collaborate for the past year. E-Collaborate has changed the lives of high-school children in Nicaragua through a donation of laptops and the placement of interns in the US. They are an efficient non-profit and are changing lives.
e-collaborate is one of the only, if not the only, nonprofit I know of that is utilizing technology to help not only American students but NGOs around the world by connecting them. It's a creative and unique collaboration between the development community and American students, that is underpinned by the use of new technology and platforms. Not only do international NGOs get a form of free marketing, but students become aware of the developing world while increasing their skills in technology.
As an Think tank from Egypt, we have been working with E-Collaborate to have volunteers from USA working online with us, and i have to tell you that they are very helpful and very well organized, they bring us a volunteer who have skills in video editing and he help us a lot to have some videos talking about our organizations and targeting people who read in English, the work with them was really great and a real positive impact on our organization
The staff of e-collaborate are constantly striving to develop innovative, meaningful programs that can positively impact youth. It's a great organization that has the potential to grow to something much larger. The programs aim to identify current global problems and offer students opportunities to think of creative solutions to these challenges. I would highly recommend it to teachers and parents who are aiming to engage youth and help them build a global perspective.
The virtual internship experience has been very well received by students in the Global Studies program at my high school. Not only have they enjoyed learning about professional opportunities in the international community, they feel like they have the opportunity to make a difference in the world. In particular, one of our students has had great success in working with an economic think tank out of Egypt, creating videos for them to use in their presentations and on their websites. Additionally, the leadership of this organization is top notch. The staff extends themselves to us regularly and are interested in feedback and collaboration.
I was first introduced to e-collaborate at the Pennsylvania Council for international education.
E-collaborate offers the allure of internships for non-profits that are global. The non profits involved are not huge, famous (?) and need more help, and put onto the world view!
I am sharing this with school districts' business class as well as my districts' gifted classes.
I even started the program as a student myself! I like that e-collaborate teaches empathy on order to have students reach the "head, heart, and hand" aspect of volunteerism!
Naina and her team are very brilliant and motivated! e-collaborate will change the way students learn and teachers teach, through integration. I am constantly inspired by the good and forward-thinking work they do.
e-collaborate provides students with the opportunity to grow into becoming "global citizens" through programs such as a virtual internship and other innovative teaching tools. ultimately, students will gain a competitive advantage once they graduate from these programs, offering experiences that are unparalleled and needed.
e-collaborate provides a new approach to learning for students and teachers in the 21st Century. One of the organization's goals is to promote a sense of global community by linking students from different countries to share ideas and experiences through a secure web portal, essentially making the world a smaller place through technology without losing the personal relationships. As someone who works remotely with people from different countries, I can truly see how e-collaborate's platform and mission will prepare students for the "real world". I believe learning how to navigate this way is critical for students and future generations, and there is no better time to start.
Passionate people, good intentions, great ideas and innovative approaches – are all hallmarks of an outstanding non-profit organization. E-collaborate is exactly this kind of non-profit organization.
Fueled by a desire to spread youth awareness of global issues, the team at E-collaborate continues to push forward with a vision and goal to connect young people across the world, teach them valuable skills, and foster a sense of international community.
Enabling young people to get a glimpse of the world that lies beyond their shores is of great value, and that is exactly what e-collaborate brings to the table.
E-collaborates' virtual internship platform for the high school kids, is one of a kind program, that provides kids the opportunity to work with non-profits across the globe, for a period of twelve weeks, following a highly structured yet a flexible curriculum. With the lack of empathy at an all time low, with today's kids, programs such as these will help kids to be an effective global citizen with deeper understanding of the broader social issues. The passion and commitment that e-collaborate team has, is unmatched.
I am honored to be associated with e-collaborate. The organization was started out of a sincere passion, and the staff have invested and sacrificed to ensure that they are incorporating best practices into their programs. This allows them to provide state-of-the-art programming to schools and students around the world, and guarantees that the best and brightest youth minds will be working to solve our most pressing global issues.
The team involved with e-collaborate is doing such great work and showcase a strong passion and dedication to their cause!
The sense of awareness and education that come out of the international cultural experiences offered through this organization provide invaluable benefits for the youth of today on how to become a better person and global citizen. Incredible job!
I've interacted over the past couple years with the founders of e-collaborate. they are a sincere, bright, professional and committed group. These factors have been apparent in their fundraisers and presentations to teachers in which i've been present. Based on the skills and heart they bring to this org, its future is bright and i trust the work they accomplish moving forward.
e-collaborate is absolutely visionary in both it's intentions and it's executions. They have contributed so much in their short existence to global education and interconnectedness and it's amazing to watch the progress bloom. Their goals extend far beyond the immediate community to realistically foster cultural, educational, and social bridges that will eventually make the world less conflicted and more collaborative through the power of integrated and practical education.
The e-collaborate offerings have the potential to connect students all around the world and create opportunities for them to work in a collaborative environment. Oftentimes partnerships build in such a congenial atmosphere afford the opportunity to improve appreciation of different cultures, understanding of their challenges and bring a fresh perspective to stereotype thinking. e-collaborate programs provide an extremely important service as our world continues to contract and our interdependency on others outside of our realm of existence increases. Such engagement has the potential to both change the world all while it enriches the lives of students in our community – helping them become global citizens. The virtual internship platform is a brilliant way to open doors for students all over the world to experience, explore and contribute on a global canvas without incurring the steep costs associated with international travel.
Bookworm Central, an organization devoted to providing students with great literary experiences, appreciates the mission of E-collaborate and look forward to seeing it touch and enhance the lives of students around the world.
