Mission: eAngel Community was developed over a 12 year period while helping in the distribution of "in Kind" donations to the underserved people of Chicago.It is a direct response to the private sector request for assistance in the donation process;bringing people together through the tradition of "in kind" giving.It is an online solution that enables donors and non profits to engage in a more efficient way;providing a vital phialanthropic link. By assisting individual and institutional donors in making donations it is our objective to empower the disadvantaged to succeeed in fulfilling basic economic and technological needs.Through eAngel each non profit can promote its mission online,solicit "in kind" donations,shop a geographic specific unuiverse of donor resources,or simply receive donor directed donations.eAngel provides the intelligence that donors need to make an informed decision in reallocating valued resources to specific non profits. Each donor can review eAngel regisitered non profits on a geographic basis,view wish lists,sort non profits according to economic needs,donate to a non profit category,donate to a specfic non profit,or allow eAngel to assign the donation to any registered non profit.In supporting these non profits eAngel effectively serves large numbers of disadvanted people in many sectors,but not limited to:healthcare,mental health,family development,art/humanities,homelessness,all faith traditions,educationchild services,human services,the elderly,housing/shelter,the handicapped,and job training.The eAngel methodology fulfills both the vital need to have but also to give while creating a philanthropic realtionship.It is our objective to build a community of sharing that has the potential of enduring well beyopnd the actual gift donation.
