Mission: Durango film brings a community together with independent filmmakers for the opportunity to experience and discuss global, innovative and diverse films. The 5-day film festival is an amazing week that builds community, fires the collective imagination, and provokes new ideas.
Programs: Durango film has celebrated the art of film with the community for more than 12 years. During the festival, 6,130 attended films, panels, parties and the jim belushi & the sacred hearts concert. Another 1,208 students and teachers participated in the reel learning school program, totaling 7,338 attending festival programs. We screened a total of 115 films in the 5-day festival.
