Mission: DuPage Children’s Museum’s mission is to stimulate curiosity, creativity, thinking and problem solving in young children through self-directed, open-ended experiences; integration of the arts, science and math; the child-adult learning partnership.
Programs: Dupage children's museum offers a variety of programs designed to stimulate the creativity and problem-solving skills among young children as well as programs to support the adults who work with and care for children. These programs include creativity programs for children, learning labs and field trips for elementary school children, just for grown-ups presentations for adults, workshop presentations for teachers and other education professionals, and badge labs for scout groups. In addition, the museum provides community support and resources for children with autism spectrum disorders, visual impairments and/or mobility impairments through its community access network and third thursday programs. These programs served 294,288 participants during its 2013-14 fiscal year.
