Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: To promote and protect the quality of life and integrity of downtown georgetown through activities that create commerce, guide growth and development, and provdie a clean, safe environment for residents and visitors.
Programs: Christmas stroll: annual event open to the public free of charge. Activites include a parade, vendors, music and entertainment, santa, rides and children's activities. Gifts for the brown and blue santa programs are collected.
market days: downtown georgetown association sponsors a market days event in each month from march through november on the square in georgetown.
williamson county wine & food festival - annual event held to promote the restaurant and wine business of georgeown. Downtown georgetown association sponsors various small events such as "first fridays on the square", "boo bash". "music on the square- and "lighting the square".
