Veteran Outdoors and Eric Monuz have inspired me to help veterans in need of help and to recognize those vets from WW2, Korea ,Vietnam, Desert Storm and all other conflicts that our nation has been in
I have been affiliated with this organization for several years now.
I have seen the time and effort that have been parlayed to these veterans. All have stories and challenges, and they are given a chance to connect and or reconnect with fellow brothers and or sisters of the armed services. Its a great organization that needs more and more of the states businesses and donors to to help. Please cone out to the functions and show support for the veterans.
I’ve had the honor of fishing with Rob Macready several times the last few years and finally with John Kaiser this past summer. They are dedicated to serving other veterans and they make every trip memorable.
We are so grateful in being part of the Veteran Outdoors organization. As supporters of this organization we see the impact that it has on our Veterans in providing them with outdoors activities. Here in Leon County we honor and love our Veterans and we hope to reunite our brothers and sisters so they can have that camaraderie. Leon County Salute To Our Veterans will continue to Support Veteran Outdoors to bring Veterans together. Thank you Cody, Brad, Toby and Joe for letting us be part of Veteran Outdoors.
I was a gifted veteran 3 years ago, and it was the best weekend. This organization definitely caters and focuses on the veteran. I have the honor of being a committee member now with the Leon County community, and really love and enjoy helping serve other gifted veterans.
As part of the CENTERVILLE Chamber Commerce. We as the community are very proud to have the Veterans Outdoors.
It is a true blessing to see the Veterans of our community to be honored and given such respect. For they are the ones who stood and fought for our Country.
Each year the event gets bigger and better because of the hard working volunteers that put in countless hours to make it such a success.
Salute to the Veterans of Leon County.
This nonprofit, brings veterans together. Every year they honor 10 veterans, in which they treat them like royalty, they give them gifts and gift them a hunt. The events they put together for the weekend is remarkable, this year they had the Vietnam Memorial mobile wall come out for they event. They keep it about the Veterans.
I had the honor to get invited to hunt last year by veteran outdoors. Had a blast with not only the organizers many of whom I have known since I was a kid, but I also made many new friends. It was an amazing experience in which I got to share with my brothers and sister. I’m extremely grateful to have been invited and I’m furthermore appreciate that there are organizations in which want to do awesome things for veterans.
I've been serving on a committee with VO for the past 4 years in East Texas. We hold a 3 day event for 10 honored veterans in Leon County. These Vets get to go on hog, deer and exotic hunts donated by local land owners. We have a skeet shoot, softball tournaments and gala with awesome gifts for the veterans , food and entertainment. It's a humbling feeling to watch these vets who defended our freedom get a tear in their eye when we show how much we appreciate them. VO has a great thing going and I'm blessed to serve with this organization. They strive to Honor and do a great job!

My name is Josh and was invited on a once in a lifetime trip with VO. Cody, Brad, Toby and the other VO crew went above and beyond! I’m a combat vet and was able to meet other veterans that had similar experiences. This trip helped me more than words could explain. I’m eternally grateful to have this opportunity and thank everyone involved! -Josh

It was truly an honor and privilege to spend a weekend with fellow veterans who are so dedicated in living and fighting for our great nation. Our American flag has always been special to me, but after hearing all the experiences from these great men, it’s even more special. A truly special thanks to Eric Munoz and all the people at Veterans Outdoors who work so hard to make this organization such a success. I expect this event to grow each year. Thank you and God Bless.
I am a vet , that got a chance to get to experience the great work that this organization does. To put into words on how hard the staff of VO work not only to live up to what their motto means but to surpass it which is “ Giving back to those that gave”!! I want to thank Toby Nunn , Eric Munoz and Cody Hirt for their dedication to the cause. I not only got to go on a pheasant hunt of a lifetime, I got to meet great people and brothers who were a breath of fresh air and a relief of that missing you have when you are no longer around people that truly understand the meaning of the brother and sisterhood, you get when you serve time in the military. Having that bond of family that only they understand with each other when your in some of your darkest times and also some of the greatest times of your life. That for me was the most important part of that trip, telling stories and getting that family feeling back that you seem to lose and miss once it is gone and you leave the military. But this gave me that back and I so thank all at Veterans Outdoors, and the great American people behind the scenes who donated their time to make this happen!! Thank You Carson Group, to include Ron Carson and Bob Huntley and all who helped in making this happen by your donation!! Thank You ... Thank You...Thank You!!!!
I have been blessed to have been invited to participate in this organization for the past 4 years as a sponsor, host and volunteer. This has truly been an unbelievable opportunity, and experience, to not only support our veterans but build great friendships. The men and women that I have met have sacrificed so much for our freedom yet so many are so humble and thankful. I have heard many stories of tragedy and triumph that make most of the mundane, everyday things, seem insignificant.
I have been blessed to be able to volunteer with Veteran Outdoors for the last few years and they are amazing!! It is so incredibly rewarding for me as a volunteer to meet such great men and women that have served our country and help on such great adventures! It has provided me with so much more than I could have imagined and I have gained so many friends that I cherish every day because of VO! What an amazing charity and I pray to be able to be involved for MANY more years!!
As a supporter of VO I see these guys do great things. Over the years I have donated money with great confidence in their stewardship. I’ve also witnessed the true and real impact on the veterans lives they’ve served and as a result it’s made a profound impact in mine. Thanks guys for Giving back to those who gave!!!
I discovered veteran outdoors 4 years ago and have been completely blown away with the effort and attitude this group brings to the table. Taking veterans on over 300 hunts a year and finding everything else to give back to the men and woman who gave so much for us.
As a veteran and donor words can not explain the love and gratitude I have for this organization. They go above and beyond to provide a therapeutic, fun and exciting time while building a wonderful relationship. I had the privilege to go out this year with Toby Nunn, John Kaiser and Rob Mccready, I was nervous about it, I don't leave my area too often, I am so happy and thankful I did. I had a great time and I look forward to doing it again which is a huge victory in itself. Like I said words can not describe how much these guys and this trip helped me, it was healing. I believe in what VO does, I know they are a huge help and they bring healing to the broken. Thank you all so much for what you do and what you did for me. As long as I can I will be donating and I look forward to the next time to be on the water with VO.
Veteran Outdoors has went above and beyond serving veterans. Great group of guys who volunteer their time and equipment to ensure each veteran is taken care of. Top notch!
Rob Mcready is an awesome man to get out and fish with. An awesome day on the water. Even though we only managed one fish on 6 bites Rob kept putting in the effort to find the fish. He is so knowledgeable and his contribution to the veteran community is second to none.
Ive had the honor and pleasure to be out on the water with Gunny. He works hard to get us vets on some fish. The comradery between vets, being out of the house, enjoying nature, brings a level of calm and healing. If you ever get a chance to go fishing with Rob, you will learn a thing or two and wont be disappointed.
Been fishing with both Rob Macready and John Kaiser. Both who Loved fishing and taking veterans and active-duty out to get on fish in the Pacific Northwest. they both have great knowledge and fishing abilities and know the systems the page that we target. Thank you very much keep up the great work
Veteran outdoors (rob) is amazing got us out on the water put us on nice fish. Great time can’t wait to do it again.
When Veteran Outdoors was just beginning, I had the great privilege of helping with graphics and marketing. While I thought it was a noble venture? It wasn’t until I met Dan Robles in person that I realized it’s tremendous impact. Dan is a double amputee Army vet. In meeting him, I saw up close the great benefit of Veteran Outdoors.
They flew him in a private plane to a ranch and outfitted him with all the gear he needed and then he enjoyed two days of hunting. He was surrounded by men who supported and listened to him and engaged with him as both a hero and an equal.
The team at VO has done this with over 3300 veterans in the last decade or so. Completely volunteer with all trips and gear donated, they have truly kept faithful to their mission of “giving back to those who gave”.
They have been the saving grace for those who were struggling. They have been a launching pad for those re-entering the civilian world. More importantly, they have treated Veteran after Veteran with the utmost dignity—as they deserve.
They are a stellar organization that I’ve been privileged to see up close.
I didn’t know what to expect when I went salmon fishing with John Kaiser in Oregon, had an absolute blast there ended up being about 6 guided boats with veterans. Great experience getting to hang with like minded guys and girls on the water away from the world.
I've been out fishing with Rob Macready with the Veteran Outdoors twice and I hope I get to go on many more. Rob is the best of the best and I consider him to be one of the greatest men I know, absolute selfless service to his fellow veterans. Not only did I catch fish on both the trips I was also invited back and given calendar dates to come back during those trips. This has been the best therapy for me by far as a disabled combat veteran. Rob is The Man!!!!
Went out with Rob Mcready on two different trips this year. We slayed some Sockeye on Baker Lake and then got limits down at Astoria. Rob is the most pro vet person I have ever met. All he cares about is putting veterans on fish. He will literally “fight” you if you try to chip in any cash lol. He is your best guide for Veteran Outdoors hands down.
I had heard about Veteran Outdoors for a couple of years but hadn't had any experiences with them. Before he got involved with VO, I had met and fished with Gunny Macready several times and he had become a real good friend and Mentor for this Salty Active Duty Chief. After teaming up with Gunny, I was invited up to fish with him at his local stomping grounds, Baker Lake. It was there that I first fished with John. Theres a lot to be said about the instant connection we are able to have with others who have served. It seems that the branch served, the era served, nor the job held while serving, seems to be a factor in how quickly we seem to connect and bond. John and I fished together while Gunny hosted the other vets. It was such an awesome couple of days. This wasn't just a one and done, thank you for serving/thank you for your service. This has become a new friendship and an extended family. I will continue to send my Sailors to the VO page so they can hopefully have an experience of their own with the crew. Keep doing the good lords work VO.
What an awesome non-profit! Currently active duty military and was able to spend the day out on the water with Rob Macready! Overall one of the best fishing days of my life and had a blast- great organization that does great things for vets and active duty members
Veteran outdoors is a wonderful program. I have volunteered for ip salmon for 5 years now. It warms my heart to see these vets with smiles on there faces and laughing. Catching up on times and sharing memories. I will continue to volunteer for many years to come. Thank you for everything you do.

I've volunteered for a program the last two years that veteran outdoors sponsors. I think it is a wonderful experience to see the faces of these veterans when they get together and fish for salmon. I've had the opportunity to meet Toby James Nunn and I appreciate everything that he and others do for our veterans. The events that veterans outdoors sponsors are very detailed. I look forward to continuing to volunteer my time at these events. Thank you veteran outdoors.
Cannot thank Veteran Outdoors for the amazing fishing trip! It felt so good to get out on the water with so many brothers and slay salmon and Dungeoness Crab!
Even spotted some whales!
Had a great time with my old buddy John. Hooked a lot of fish, great time catching up. Thank you John! Two thumbs way up!!
I had the privilege to part of Operation Salmon 2019. I’m still not sure who had more fun over the weekend, the veterans on my boat, or my friend and I running the boat. All I can tell you is that it has been an amazing experience that has left me fulfilled, and with a real sense appreciation for these men, ones like them, and the life they’ve helped me to have through their service. Veteran Outdoors is a nonprofit for veterans, but honestly, it did a lot for this ordinary joe just helping where I can.
Rob Macready has gone above and beyond volunteering his time for VO. He has provided over 30 trips a year for Veterans in the PNW fishing for Sockeye, Coho, Chum and Chinook. I cant think of a better Ambassador for team VO.
I have been volunteering with veteran outdoors for a little over three years now. It has been life changing. I my self am not a veteran but my father was. To get the opportunity to spend days on the water and get to know these warriors both active and retired is nothing short of amazing. I’ve made some amazing friends along the way. To see the joy shared betwen these folks is awesome. Thanks again and I hope to continue to serve these hero’s.
After a career ending injury received in Iraq in 2006 volunteering with Veteran Outdoors has provided me a role to continue my service. Thanks to the support of veteran Outdoors I’m able to reach over 100 veterans a year to provide healing in the Outdoors through fishing, crabbing and duck hunting trips. I consider being able to volunteer with this great organization an honor and a blessing!

As a volunteer for Veteran Outdoors I’m continually amazed at the planning and thought that goes into making each veterans experience with VO one that will have a meaningful impact!
I was lucky enough to participate in Operation Salmon 2019 that was sponsored by VO. The weekend spent connecting with other veterans, meeting a gold star family member and fighting Salmon on the Columbia river was nothing short of amazing. I can not thank them enough for the memories made and their dedication to helping Veterans.
I met another disabled Veteran (John Kaiser) on a cow elk hunt, sponsored by Freedom Hunters, last November. He told me then that he could arrange a Colombia River fishing trip for me thru Veteran Outdoors Inc. (VO) I never believed this would happen and didn't expect it to. So much for Not believing, John Kaiser is a man of his words and a leader in Veteran Outdoors Inc. They treated me and my wife on one of the Best Fishing vacations I have ever been on. VO arranged for Veterans Airlift Command to fly my wife and I to Astoria, OR, fish the Columbia River, with excellent lodging, meals and transportation. John Kaiser was the best guide and helped us with everything. I'm still amazed how atoshining everything came together. Veteran Outdoors Inc. is a Truly amazing organization. 100% Plus rating. Bilateral above the knees Amputee from VietNam.
Had a FANTASTIC day fishing with John Kaiser of Veterans Outdoors. The PLUS was that we all got our Limits on Fall Chinook Salmon. These folks are there FOR Veterans - BY Veterans. It's NOT just about fishing though. It IS about sharing, relaxing, and relating with and to other Veterans.
"YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN"!
Please note: Your Healh Insurance Company DOESN'T provide this kind of Therapy!
John is a great guide, helped us get out on the water (it's been years) and catch some good eating fish... A good day.
Incredible time on the trip they provided me. Could not be happier, and really helped my mental wellbeing
I went on a fishing trip (Operation Salmon) with Veteran Outdoors and everything from the second I arrived was amazing. I was able to reconnect with buddies I had last seen on the battlefields of Iraq and there is just something extremely healing about it.
The organization of the event by Toby Nunn and John Kaiser was above and beyond anything I have taken part in.
Veterans Outdoors 2018 Operation Salmon was an outstanding success, Bring veteran soldiers and friends together who have not seen each other in years so they can remember why they served this great country and to reminisce on their achievements and to member the fallen who give up the great scarifies to this nation, The True Band of Brothers, Brothers forever
FISH A DAY IN MY SHOES - Cabo San Lucas 2018
What a great trip and even better organization, I'm very proud to be an active supporter of this organization.
There can be no greater reason to bring a group of like-minded individuals together than to attempt to land a fat salmon or sturgeon, whilst enjoying the insults, jokes, and humor only those with a shared brotherhood can know.
These trips help bring memories, both good and bad, to light and allow for a unique style of healing/centering oneself back in a world sometimes in too much of a hurry. The peacefulness of the area, friendliness of the locals, and the shared stories/experiences allow one to relax, making the demons dealt with become more manageable.
Definitely worth the ticket to get up there and certainly creates new memories between brothers/sisters-in-arms that will be talked about for some time.
If fishing isn't the draw, hunting can certainly be the next great thing. If neither tickle your fancy, then the time spent with service members, cops or combat medics, young or seasoned, disabled or healthy, and veteran or active duty is well worth the moments spent in the outdoors.

One of my buddies told me to keep a weekend open for "Operation Salmon" and I'm glad I went to it. It was an awesome time spent hanging out with othe veterans and just being able to get away from the daily grind of civvie life. We took a visit to see our fallen comrades at the Tomahawk memorial and in their honor attempted to drain the rivers and creeks of salmon to give homage to them. It was peaceful as well as a rewarding experience and I encourage other veterans to make the trip. Tomahawks!
This organization has changed my life and the lives of many of those I love! Having worked in the veteran non-profit sector I am very particular about what charities I align myself with. Veteran Outdoors is as good as they come in EVERY way! From financials, to mission, to follow-up; they do it the right way for the right reasons. This organization is a top level charity and the veteran community is blessed to have them!
Recently I had the pleasure of hanging out with this organization and the Veterans and their wives that were on a dream fishing trip.
I can't say enough great things about Veteran Outdoors. Not only did they provide these couples with an amazing trip but brought a ton of joy and comraderie with it. The level of professionalism and fun provided by the organization was top notch.
VO is a first class organization run by incredible individuals who truly believe in service before self! Could not be more proud to be allowed to walk close to these giants. Thank you guys for everything you do for all of us!
I first heard about this organization after meeting Cody Hirt. I worked for a store where he came in to purchase items for this organization. I am the son of a veteran, and have other family and friends who are currently serving, or are veterans themselves. I have seen a few videos of their work and the support for our military veterans and believe that Veteran Outdoors Inc is a wonderful support for those injured veterans, and those who have served who enjoy the outdoors.
Totally awesome what these guys do for our veterans! They put veterans before themselves!

I have had the joy and privilege of meeting many of the men and women involved with Veteran Outdoors. There is nothing more humbling than hugging the neck of a veterans wife that watched her husband learn to walk again with two prosthetic legs and then proceed to go on amazing hunts that completely put him to the test. We have made it a family affair and taught our sons how important it is to show respect and admiration to these veterans. It is such an emotional experience getting to meet the veterans and hear there truly amazing stories and how Veteran Outdoors has changed their lives. So proud of this organization and all that they have done for veterans and how much they have taught me and my family.

I have personally witnessed many veterans surprised by this wonderful organization.
It is an absolute joy to watch these young men and women receive hunts of a lifetime.
Veteran Outdoors goes above and beyond to accommodate each one of them and whatever
Their specific needs might be. They customize each hunt for the individual and surround them
With honor and love. I am so proud of what this organization is doing and will continue to do.
I have cried many tears of joy hearing the stories the veterans have shared about their experiences.
Thank you Veteran Outdoors for doing AMAZING work and giving these young men and women
The respect and love they deserve.
I would like to thank Veteran Outdoors and all the wonderful people who are part of it. VO has made it possible for a band of brothers to reunite and have that camaraderie that we have had since long ago. Going out fishing especially with my brothers is a healing process that is greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!!
Great program. Good to see organization helping out the vetrans. John Kaiser is becoming one hell of a guide.
Rob
What this organization does for our nation's heroes is beyond amazing! The people involved with Veteran Outdoors are genuine and caring! Great group of people! Great organization! Great mission!
Over the years I have been lucky to call some of the guys from VO friends. I have always been awestruck at their commitment to helping veterans have a chance to have a great hunt. The stories they have shared with me brought me to tears on multiple occasions. I will continue to promote, and donate to VO because I can directly see the impact they make on our veterans lives!
As a veteran connected to a large veteran network, I can honestly lend my thanks and appreciation to this great organization. Aside from the hundreds of hours I know that each of the organizational leaders of Veteran Outdoors have spent for veterans they have also spent in their community.
My husband recently returned from a 10 month deployment. We decided before he left that I deserved a "momma survived deployment with 4 kids" vacation. Veteran outdoors generously donated airfare so we could go on a once in a lifetime tropical vacation! My husband and I are forever greatful for their generosity!
Veteran outdoors has been an outstanding influence to many wounded warriors. I know , because I saw first hand what they did for my brother. They brought him happiness, belief in himself, and most of all the willingness to achieve his goals. Thank you Cody and staff for everything you have done for my brother and his family. Sincerely, Bill Scrogin!
Truly a great group of Americans who give back to the veteran community of Texas and around the US. Veteran Outdoors is a grassroots organization that is changing the lives of US service men and women, both active and formerly active, by providing them an opportunity to reconnect with the great outdoors and learn how to cope with injuries sustained while serving in a combat theater.

The whole Veteran Outdoors organization has been nothing short of amazing! I was a Gifted Veteran at a local event here in S. Texas. From the moment the organizers got us all together, it was nothing but smiles and laughter! From the organizers, sponsors, volunteers, etc.! I couldn't have had a better time with this bunch! It lasted for three days streight! Just kept getting better, all the while too! Trust in knowing this group looks out for it's members, and all other Veterans! Thank you!!! Thank you!
VO is a group of badasses that honor our country's veterans by taking them on sponsored hunts! How cool is that? Keep it up fellas!
The Veteran Outdoors is a really top notch organization! I've seen them help so many veterans including myself that I can't begin to explain how much of an impact they make. The gentleman that run this organization are selfless and put so much time and effort in making a difference in the veteran community, a true sacrifice they make. I am honored to be a part of this family and I look forward to every event to help out!!
I am Retired US Army and i was gifted with an amazing trip to South Texas with 14 other Veterans for a fishing and hunting experience called Cast and Blast.
The trip was a 1000 times better than I could imagine and the folks from VO were not only experts in those fields but also the most selfless and giving people I have met in a long time.
Their patriotism and humble demeanor are hard not to recognize and I encourage everyone to look into them and find a way you can support, volunteer or donate to them.
Their sponsors were amazing and the companies behind them went well above and beyond.
Veteran's Outdoors is an amazing group of people who have come together to help veterans. My husband is a veteran and my son is in a JROTC unit. Veteran's outdoors was kind enough to send my son a cool t-shirt which he wears to school proudly. These guys provide an awesome service and are a great non-profit!
I just got back from VO's Operation Salmon - awesome time and well done by the VO team. Veteran Outdoors replaced insurgents with Chinook Salmon and the battlefields of Iraq with the beautiful Columbia River George, but it preserved the camaraderie, revelry, and sense of mission that our veterans love and miss. Whether we knew it or not, we reformed as a cohesive whole just like we were in Iraq, and in the process, healed. And then the stories came out, which of course included the humor that perhaps only a veteran can appreciate. My sons heard stories that they don't get to hear at the dinner table, stories that I'm proud of and surely gave them a greater understanding of what we are a part of as an Army family and as Americans. VO also connected the event to the veterans associations in the local area during our final cookout on 9-11, which made for some classic Americana.
Oh, and I got to watch an old war buddy help my son hook his first Salmon - awesome. Class act VO - keep it up. -T6
This is an organization that not only gives back to veterans, but gives them incredible, once-in-a-lifetime, unforgettable adventures, tons of FUN, and memories that no one can take away, which could help them erase the ones they need to forget. At the top of the list for great nonprofits.
I'd give more stars of this would let me. Incredible people, helping wounded veterans do incredible things. They took me on a gator hunt and showed me that even with no legs, i can still do badass stuff like tag a gator. Thanks guys, you're awesome.
These adventures are run by God fearing, Patriotic men and women, who know the importance of giving back to our veterans who have given so much for us. In a time when our veterans receive so little, this organization really makes a difference to those they serve. This is an amazing team succeeds in its mission to treat each recipient with respect and support while delivering a dream experience. I am proud to know and support Veterans Outdoors.
The primary mission of Veteran Outdoors, is to provide "once in a lifetime" hunting and fishing trips for injured Veterans. Often though, they can affect any veteran on a much smaller scale. I've been fortunate to befriend some of the founding members.
I am an Able Body Veteran, but was invited by Veteran Outdoors to attend a Father/ Daughter hunt. My Daughter was able to harvest her first White tail. One that would be envious in almost any circle.
The trip in and of itself, was a blast. The memories made, between Dad and Daughter, will be remembered on my death bed.
These are people making a difference, doing the Lords work, and true stewards of Conservation and the Great Outdoors.
Semper Fidelis-
I personally have done graphics work for this organization from their beginnings which has allowed me to see the vision grow into reality and beyond. I know several of the people and their families at this non profit and I've never seen a group dedicate so much time and selfless acts to a cause. I would recommend anyone wanting to donate their time or money to go meet these guys at an event and you'll fully understand what you're giving.
I got to meet everyone at VO through a hunt they put on. I challenge anyone to find a nonprofit that the people who run it give more to. Not just money but, time also.
I am blessed to call these guys my friends and hope that that they continue to grow and are able to keep helping the veteran community.
Wonderful organization with employees who love what they do and are excited about the opportunity to give veterans an experience of a lifetime!
Veteran Outdoors is a super charity to donate in honor of or in memory of someone special.
I am new to veteran outdoors. I have only been to a few events, but I can say they go above and beyond what is expected for a veteran benefit.
Over the years I have worked with many non profit organizations in a variety of roles. Volunteer, supporter, organizer, and others. The work is never easy, sometimes under valued, but always rewarding because "the cause" is worth the investment of time and effort.
This has never been more true than with Veterans Outdoors. Not only do I believe in their cause, who they serve, and the value the service men, women, and animals provide to our country; but I whole heartedly believe in the team who founded this organization. Their genuine devotion to the Veteran community who serve is inspiring and honorable.
As a veteran, a donor and a volunteer words can not explain the love and gratitude I have for this organization that goes above and beyond to help my fellow brothers and sisters. I had the privilege of hosting a Veterans Cast N' Blast last year and treated 8 well deserving men the weekend of a lifetime. This year I'm doing it again because I believe in what VO does for our wounded veterans. As long as I can I will go keep donating, volunteering and serving VO.
As the wife of a wounded service member, I worry daily about my husband's mental health. Veteran Outdoors provided an experience to my husband that was truly once in a lifetime. They are an organization that stays involved with the family even after the hunt. This was so important to my husband and his mental health. He needed to know he wasn't alone and that people truly cared about him as a person. Brad and Cody have made it their mission to help service members and be more than just a hunting experience. We are so grateful for their friendship and the wonderful hunting experience they provided to our family.
Veterans Outdoors is reaching those that need the help most. It is the simple things that are changing lives
I helped organize a recent pheasant hunt in South Dakota through V.O. I had no idea of the effort that these people make to insure their clients receive the greatest experience possible. I was truely humbled to be around not only the veterans who deserved such an experience but the folks at V.O. themselves. I can't wait to help Veteran Outdoors in the future. This is one organization that goes above and beyond for our disabled veterans and truly expects nothing in return.
This is one of the best organizations I have ever encountered in my life. The staff at VO truly cares about their veterans as well as their country. It's amazing to me to see how much they strive to insure a great time is had by all and the veteran him/herself has a truly unforgettable time. For once an organization has humanity on the top of the list instead of orofits. Way to go VO!!
Veteran Outdoors is the best wounded warrior program I have come across. What they do for our American heroes is above and beyond. I have had the honor of donating alligator hunts to the program for the last 4 years and plan to continue indefinitely.
I have seen firsthand the impact that Veteran Outdoors has on the lives of veterans, the ranch owners and the volunteers at VO. It's not just the hunt, but the fact that people care enough to put in all the work to make the hunts happen. I believe in the therapeutic effects of the outdoors. Whether it's introducing a warfighter to hunting for the first time, or getting them back out in the field for the first time since their injury, VO makes every trip special, and treats every veteran with the respect and honor they deserve. VO has been a life changing organization not just for the veterans, but for all of those involved. It is also very refreshing to see a charity do so much good with the limited funds they have.
Veteran Outdoors is an amazing organization that looks to give back to our incredible men and women of the armed forces and thank them for all that they have sacrificed. They focus on the injured, however they honor all service men and women as well as other organizations who are also trying to make a difference and stand up for what's right.
Awesome people doing a great service for veterans. I have had the pleasure of working with VO on two seperate occasions. Just wish I could do more for this organization.
I have watched this show and can see the excitement and happiness on the faces of the Veterans who experience a hunt of a lifetime! The group from Veteran Outdoors are very caring and so professional with each of the Veteran hunters they take out for a trophy. I am so proud of our Veterans, each and every one of them and I pray for all our US Veterans daily. Thank God there is a show like Veteran Outdoors!!
I strongly support Veteran Outdoors, Inc. I work in the television and film industry and have seen first hand the generosity put forth by this group. Our fine young men and women return home from war with traumatic injuries and post traumatic stress syndrome. And this organization provides therapeutic relief to them by simply providing them a avenue to enjoy the outdoors. Its life changing and should continue for as long as we have a military.
If not for Veteran Outdoors, I would never have had the chance to meet and help some of these heroes of our day. I used to wonder why hunting was a way to get these veterans out into the world, but now I know. I see their enthusiasm and need to go out and experience their personal story with everyone even though they are in a solitary situation to capture their trophy. That trophy and their Veteran Outdoors experience then stays with them forever as a beautiful prize. You see, it's all about that veteran, and that's what Veteran Outsoors does.
