Mission: The mission of dc care is to provide support to people living with hiv/aids (plwha)and their families and collaborate with service providers to enhance the delivery and quality of hiv/aids services in washington,dc.
Programs: Program services focus on emergency assistance to address unmet social service needs of district residents with hiv/aids, such as mortgage, rental and utilities assistance, food and hygiene vouchers, and transportation assistance to support attendance at health and support services appointments. In addition, dc care provides health insurance premium and co-pay assistance to facilitate access to medical care and medications for people with hiv/aids.
