I adopted a dog from this rescue 3 years ago. Everything went seamlessly. I was told to bring my puppy to planned pethood for her spay and rabies shot. They called Michelle while I was there she put everything on her credit card right then. I have been volunteering for this rescue ever since. I will say she is definitely is picky about who adopts her rescues. This is all to the benefit of the puppies. Excellent rescue, HIGHLY reccomend. She is very honest and transparent about every process we went through. Thankyou Michelle you have no idea how much this dog has helped me.

If zero were available that's what I would rate. We met Michele and her supposed foster Lisa in Zephyrhills Park on 1/1/23 after several phone conversations to meet and greet "Molly" that we found on Petfinder. She told me before we drove 1.5 hrs to meet that we would not be able to take her that day due to her not be microchipped, spayed and 3rd round of vaccinations. We were not expecting to take her home that day after meeting, and told her that we would wait until all necessary vet checks were complete but came prepared (money and blanket), just in case. She asked if we liked her and wanted to go ahead and take her that day which we agreed after she said she agreed that she find a local vet near us to take care of the rest of her shots, etc. I signed a contract and she wrote on the bottom that her organization would be responsible for the final services. After we took the dog home, I texted her several names and even made the phone calls myself to the local vets and passed on the info to her and she said she would pass on them -- too expensive. I told her that I needed a record of her first two shots as proof for whatever vet I would take her too after finding a low cost place that is an hour from our home. She's not responded to me since the day after we brought the dog home. Many text messages have been unanswered and she does not answer her phone. She took our money and has not followed through with her end of the deal. We love the dog, but now are having to pay additional expenses of having her spayed, microchipped and must start over with the first round of shots (according to some of the vets) since we have no record of her first 2 rounds. Had I read another review on this website, we may have had second thoughts or at least asked more questions. Please do your homework before adopting from her. She puts on a good show and said all the right things but can't be trusted.

After having such a terrible experience with other rescues, I reached out to Michelle to see about the possibility of adopting one of her puppies. She was quick to respond and very informative. I met with her and picked out my puppy and Michelle offered to take her with the rest of the litter to go get her second round of puppy shots so that way I didn't have to go out of my way to take her. She's extremely helpful and has been given to the stay three years later. Since adopting my dog I have fostered for her four times and it's been a great experience each time. I'm so thankful for Michelle and her rescue forgiving me the best dog I could've ever asked for. I appreciate most that Michelle is a real person and does this out of the kindness of her heart. No matter what she has going on in her own personal life she's always willing to save another puppies life and I think that's the greatest quality someone can have.

Absolutely horrible. After agreeing on a puppy on a Sunday afternoon, and agreeing to hear from her after she took puppy to vet late the next day, Michele became erratic, angry and uncommunicative. She wanted us to pick up puppy at 8:30 pm.-3 hrs.after vaccinations. We had our home ready and set up but told her we did not want to stress puppy by picking her up so late and after their shots. We made ourselves available the next morning as early as 6:00 am to accommodate her “busy schedule”but she continued to change date/time. She became irate and would not call back. There is something VERY shady and not aboveboard with this non profit. She appears to have some emotional issues that I worry cloud her judgement and make her not put the rescue dogs well being and placement as #1 prority.I would never recommend her organization. Just FYI: so you understand that we are legit and responsible for our pets, we had 4 other dogs that we were approved to meet and greet. We ultimately did adopt one of them.
