Mission: The purpose of the organization shall be to advance the best interests of the distribution construction industry by establishing good public relations, by market development, by education and research, by negotiating fair and equitable collective bargining agreements with representatives of employees engaged in the industry, by encouraging and developing safety, by providing scholarships for sons and daughters of those engaged in, or connected with, the industry and generally to encourage the use of contractors for the construction of all distribution pipelines.
