Mission: Daughters of Zion International provides relief support programs for orphaned, abandoned and abuse children in the most impoverished and undeveloped countries in Africa. We also offer empowerment programs to teen mothers and disadvantage women struggling with the hardships of being a "girl child" in a third world country. In Africa, the "girl child" often faces the most discrimination from the earliest stages of life. She is subject to rape, genital mutilation domestic abuse, incest and sexual exploitation. This has caused us to specifically focus on eradicating these facts by doing more to assist these girls. Although we do not discriminate in the services we offer to any age or gender, we have committed to educate others and make every effort to restore as many girls who have been unfortunate to experience such atrocities. We provide a rescue center where children/teens and even women are free to express, to trust and free to discuss the abuse and discrimination they have encountered. We have various programs in place to help restore their hope, rebuild their self esteem and regain their trust in themselves and others. We provide every person that enters our care an environment free from discrimination and abuse but full of the love and respect. These individuals learn life-changing skills needed to become upstanding citizens that will one day empower and impact their nation.
