Mission: The Da Vinci Institute is a historic educational partnership whose goal is to impact the arts and arts education in Oklahoma. A joint strategic plan written by the Central Oklahoma Collegiate Arts and Arts Education Research Committee, outlines the steps to create and provide a vibrant arts environment for all Oklahomans by: (1)Partnering with others to ensure all Oklahoma students participate in arts education programs that are ongoing, sequential and comprehensive(2)Providing artistic programs for advanced students (3)Strengthening arts education programs (4)Strengthening arts offerings (5)increasing public awareness of collegiate arts programs and(6)increasing public awareness of the arts with a mission to elevate the quality of arts education and programming statewide, increase awareness of existing collegiate arts events, and nurture the creation of new artists and audiences.
