Mission: Ctdc is a nonprofit coalition of more than 100 heritage, cultural, and community organizations throughout the national capital. Cultural tourism dc and its members affirm the importance of culture and heritage to washington's neighborhoods and the district's economic prosperity.
Programs: Heritage & community programs: neighborhood heritage trails use photography and history on poster-sized illustrated street signs to tell neighborhood stories. These trails are self-guided trails, and with summary guides, are available for the 17 trails. Ctdc continues to maintain a presence in the communities through its participation in neighborhood festivals, speaking engagements, and ongoing contact with its heritage trail working groups.
