Mission: The organization is a community based educational organization dedicated to
Programs: Providing dance training in various forms of dance to gunnison county students from age 3 to age 70+. The training coincides with the local community school academic calendar. In fy 2017 we continued to offer a boys only hip hop team and expanded our company training program and serve 34 dedicated student dancers. In fy 2017 the school took on the fiscal sponsorship of the cb dance collective increasing the amount of aerial programming offered & the number of classes available to adult dancers. Combined we serve 500 students.
the organization provides a summer workshop that attracts students and instructors from around the country. Students of all abilities are accepted and it concludes with national dance day. There were approx. 180 participants in fye2017.
the dance collective provides the opportunity for adult dancers to participate in a local showcase, "move the butte", whose popularity continues to grow each year. There were approximately 100 participants in 2017.
