Mission: Creative Television of Rhode Island, Inc. was founded in 1983, as an organization dedicated to providing area film and video enthusiast with a practical outlet to showcase their talents, abilities, and work. The promise was that there would be new opportunities for creating television programming via the coming of cable.
Since then, CTRI has presented films, provided video production training, collaborated with Performing Artists, worked with other non-profit agencies, advocated the use of Public Access, advocated use of emerging technologies, and has created a library of it's own original programs, including; music, comedy, and documentaries.
