The International Yacht Restoration School serves a much-needed niche in the education of young people, providing a skill-based program which is unique in the US. I've been involved as a supporter and volunteer and have been incredibly impressed with the superlative work of the students, as well as the leadership of the director and the fundraising impresaria, Loriana Di Cresenzo. The organization, which is still a relatively young institution, has gone from strength to strength, and has garnered the attention of the high-flying yachting world, which recognizes that this school needs support to flourish.
