Covenant homecare served 4,697 patients in 2016 in the course of 58,280 patient visits.

Services are provided to terminally ill patients whose physicians have diagnosed them with a terminal disease that is expected to result in death within six months of being taken under care. The objective is to allow these patients to die at home with dignity. Hospice services are provided in the home and consist of nursing, therapy, nursing assistants, spiritual services and social services. Patients include those covered by medicare, tenncare and commercial insurance, as well as self-pay patients. No patient is denied care due to an inability to pay. Applications for financial assistance are provided to patients who need them, and financial counselors are available to assist with the application process. Covenant homecare served 633 hospice patients in 2016 over the course of 18,384 visits.

Service is provided regardless of the ability to pay, and recipients of the equipment are eligible for charity care assistance consistent with other services provided by covenant homecare. Covenant home medical equipment offers exceptional, personalized patient care for the full range of products and services provided. Dedicated staff members are experienced, knowledgeable, and highly motivated to assure the best possible patient outcomes. Striving to provide excellent customer service, covenant home medical equipment can assist with the following: * timely, reliable delivery and pickup of products * 24-hour emergency service * billing of primary and secondary payer sources * follow-up with physicians (progress and compliance) * patient instruction * equipment operation and carecovenant home medical equipment offers a complete line of equipment and supplies for home use. Trained staff are available to answer questions and offer solutions concerning home medical equipment and supplies. The covenant homecare triage department is staffed with registered nurses 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Covenant home medical equipment offers a full range of respiratory products and services. A registered respiratory therapist is available on-site to provide patient education and 24-hour on-call clinical support.
covenant homecare manages the day to day operations of hope center, a department of covenant health. The hope center provides a context for hope through advocating, educating and addressing the individual needs of those affected by hiv and other life-altering illnesses. The hope center provides at no charge, caring support and assistance to all individuals and families living with hiv. Inpatients, outpatients, people relocating to this area, or newly diagnosed individuals have a safe, non-stigmatizing place to feel encouraged, valued, and also have a voice. The hope center receives and accepts calls made by patients, physicians, staff, community hospitals, or agencies.
