Sean Karl Foundation has been an amazing entity to be a part of - from loving the Karl family to getting to help with and participate in events hosted by the foundation. How the Karl’s have taken such a deep loss and used it to help and encourage others in their battle with cancer is a wonder to behold. They have made me feel so special and loved by just attending an SKF event. They are taking the tennis and sports community and rallying troops for a greater cause in everything they do. If I could recommend a foundation to be a part of... the Sean Karl Foundation is on the top of my list.

I love the umph behind the vision: it’s not a great thing to get behind - it’s people to love and fight for & with.

It is a truly inspiring story what Sean's family and friends have been able to do with this organization. The battle against Ewing's Sarcoma, and the numerous lives it affects, deserves more attention. It's organizations like this, with people deeply passionate about raising awareness and assisting the fight, that make a meaningful impact. The events organized are engaging and do a great job of connecting to the community, bringing attention to Sean's incredible journey and what we all can do to help fight this disease.

Getting to know mike and Laurie Karl, as well as Hunter Reese, they have made these events so much fun and are able to receive so much support from the community around them! All of their events are run very smoothly and are tons of fun for everyone who participated in them! Can not wait to be apart of more of them!

This nonprofit is supporting a wonderful cause. They are organized and informative about every event. They really appreciate the help that they receive and I am very honored to have worked with the Sean Karl Foundation. I look forward to helping in the future and seeing how they positively affect pediatric cancer research in the future.

I attended a tennis exhibition supporting the Sean Karl Foundation in May,2016. The participants were having a great time and made sure the spectators did as well. All the volunteers at the event were friendly and helpful when we asked about the foundation. SKF is a charity I’m happy to support.

This passed weekend I got the opportunity to volunteer with the Sean Karl Foundation. I have volunteered for 5K's before but this one was most memorable. The environment and the people running made the run feel extraordinary. I took pictures of those who wore the shirts in support of the foundations, and the spirit of each person made the experience very special. The energy and moods of those running and even volunteering made the service fun and exciting to be around.

I hardly knew Sean, just in passing because we were both student-athletes at the same time. After Sean passed, the athletic department came together in a really cool way. I got to know Sean more from the stories his family and friends told and learned what a relentless warrior he was. He fought the good fight and his family and this foundation is continuing his legacy to do so as well.

Sean was an inspiration to many as he battled through Ewing Sarcoma for 2 years. As a response to his passing, many have been inspired to live life more abundantly, fully...and with purpose. This foundation was formed to help other children who are battling this disease and we have great events planned throughout the year to raise money for Ewing Sarcoma research. This is 100% volunteer driven organization, committed to making a difference. Check out our website which tells our story at seankarlfoundation.org and come out to one of our events and support our mission...and have some fun (Sean would like us to have fun!).

Sean's story is remarkable. I walked with Sean and his family and friends through his battle with Ewing's Sarcoma, and was forever changed. I am so happy that the Sean Karl Foundation has been started to carry on his legacy; his willingness to push and to never give up, his positive outlook that absolutely radiated from his core, and his deep and intense heart for his family and friends. The road to a cure is a long one, but the Sean Karl Foundation is determined to fight to the end just like Seany did!
