I was looking for a new nonprofit to donate money to. I posted an inquiry on a popular social network to find potential recipients. I received four responses and surprisingly 3 out of 4 did little more than give me their name. A Council Rock Education Foundation (CREF) Director also responded. I sent a few questions to her and within 24 hours I met a Director plus the Executive Director and wow was I impressed. They had a plan in place, to grow themselves. The Executive Director was recently hired and is well versed in how to make CREF part of a community. I was a little put off by the large number of Directors, but they really pull from relevant disciplines and community members who keep them in direct contact with the students they wish to assist. CREF holds the grant recipients accountable
