Programs: Programming & production: crnc provides programming that informs, inspires, entertains, and strengthens the community. Crnc achieves this by curating programming from a variety of sources, including npr, pri, and apm. Crnc's award winning news department is dedicated to providing quality journalism at a regional level. Crnc produces diverse music programming, including features of local artists. Samplings of the programs offered by crnc are morning edition, marketplace, kunc music, this american life, car talk, and a prairie home companion.
broadcasting: crnc transmits its programs through a vast network of stations and translators in northern colorado with a population base of over two million and is currently listened to by over 165,000 listeners along the front range, in the northern plains, and in the mountain communities. The front range signal is kunc (91. 5fm). Other stations are krnc (88. 5fm) in steamboat springs, kvnc (90. 7fm) in vail, kmpb (88. 7) in breckenridge, and kenc (90. 7fm) in estes park. Coverage is supplemented by 13 translators, replicating the kunc programming signal. Crnc continually strives to improve our service area by increasing our broadcasting capabilities. Crnc also offers streaming of its programming through our website and through digital apps.
