Mission: Community Partnerships with Youth, Inc. is a national training and development center for youth, youth professionals, educators and the clergy. Its purpose is to provide the training experiences, curricula materials, and technical assistance needed to empower youth, in equal partnership with adults, to become active citizens of their community through service. Curricula materials include Youth as Trustees which focuses on helping youth understand trusteeship, the action involved, and the commitment needed, and Youth in Governance which encourages the participation of youth on boards and/or committees and provides the knowledge needed to be an effective board/committee member. The newest publication, Youth as Philanthropists assists young people in understanding the history, philosophy, and the acts of philanthropy. It involves youth in activities which encourage using their time, talent, and treasure in service to community.
