Mission: Cma is committed to provide and develop a range of residential services and a variety of innovative programs which offer support and services that meet the changing needs of adults with developmental disabilities throughout their lives while in cma's care.
Programs: During 2017, cma provided a range of residential services to adult men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Services range from supportive living services to 24 hour per day supervised residential services. Special services are provided to people with down syndrome who also have developed alzheimer's disease. People served have autism, asperger's syndrome, down syndrome, fetal alcohol syndrome, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and mental retardation with no identified etiology. The majority of those served have a co-existing psychiatric or medical diagnosis, such as schizophrenia and brittle bone diabetes. These programs provide long-term living arrangements with the structure and supervision for a quality program. Cma operated 13 family-like residences during 2017. Vocational services designed to help the population of people we serve to work productively in workplaces in the community were also provided. These services included vocational assessments, pre-vocational training, vocational training, and intensive and ongoing supported employment services. Service coordination was provided to 162 individuals to insure that they had access to all of the services they needed that were available to them and for which they were eligible. This involved developing and implementing a detailed, person-centered, individualized plan for each person served.
