Programs: Healthy long branch: made 2,121 contacts to link people to health and basic needs resources, we enrolled 475 people in health care coverage through the affordable care act, and began implementation of healthy food access program
community improvement: conducted 19 community events involving 271 people including workshops with low income families at four elementary schools on topics such as tenant rights, immigrant rights, and led events, such as a school cleanup day, a tree planting event, and a new walking club, and led creation of long branch emergency response basic plan.
fiscal agent: acted as fiscal agent for takoma united for engaged community which conducted the martin luther king day celebration and service day in takoma park and takoma park lunch and learn, which provides summer meals and enrichment to low income children
