Healthy Teen Network Inc

Healthy Teen Network has been part of my professional life for more than 15 years. In that time, I have been associated with the organization and its stellar staff in multiple ways:
1) a member
2) a donor
3) part of a group of peers who received professional development support
4) part of an organization that participated in a federal cooperative agreement bringing Healthy Teen Network training and technical assistance to constituents in our state
5) part of the Public Policy Committee
6) a collaborative partner on funding proposals
7) a presenter at Healthy Teen Network conferences
8) part of the Board of Directors.

Healthy Teen Network has a strong reputation in the fields of adolescent sexual health promotion and healthy youth development (and maybe others). They consistently deliver high quality materials and training, and push the curve on thinking about what young people need to succeed. While they are allies with other national organizations, they are unique in that they also listen and respond to the needs of state and local-level professionals. I have always trusted them - they have young people's best interests in mind, and do everything in their power to ensure the adults in young people's lives are well-equipped to work with them in productive ways. They have a presence in national policy-making circles, and the communication tools to inform the field about important policy developments. They are adept at working cross-culturally, and their staff and Board reflect their commitment to walking the talk of diversity and inclusion.

Healthy Teen Network is making a significant impact in the lives of adolescents through their unwavering advocacy, training & technical assistance, and national capacity building work. As a leader in the field of pregnancy prevention and teen parent support for the past 35 years, they have made noteworthy contributions towards improving the sexual and reproductive health outcomes of youth, including shifting the paradigm for parenting youth to lead happy, healthy, and successful lives. The annual HTN conference is the must attend event of the year for youth serving professionals to come together, increase skills, and build networks and collaborations.

I am amazed at the energy and scope of services provided by the Healthy Teen Network. Their efforts both support teens and those who work with teens, especially the most vulnerable of our youth. By supporting teens sexual health and teens who parent, Healthy Teen Network advocates for inclusivity, knowledge, and personal power. Their efforts are creative and meet teens where they are! As the next generation of responsible and productive adults, teens need all the support we can provide them. Healthy Teen Network is one of the few such resources to ensure a happy and healthy tomorrow. I have been consistently inspired by their efforts.

Healthy Teen Network is on the cutting edge of adolescent sexual health. The organization provides conferences, training, resources, and advocacy geared toward ensuring that all young people have access to information and resources they need to live healthy, successful lives. In my work with HTN (I have been a Board member since 2009 and a member since 2002), I have always found the Board and staff to be dedicated to providing excellent services to those who work with adolescents. The organization is run with integrity and responsibility, and is committed to using innovative and effective tools to fulfill its mission.

HTN provides incredibly valuable services and research to professionals working with teens in the area of pregnancy and parenting. A most important set of issues for today's youth. A most professional organization.

This organization has a highly commited Board and Staff.

Healthy Teen Network continues to amaze and impress with the outstanding leadership and direction they provide in the areas of pregnant and parenting teens and adolescent health. The organization has a core of devoted and determined all-stars who advocate for a pure purpose. I am beyond proud to be associated with HTN.

Healthy Teen Network is an amazing organization They not only talk the talk but they also walk the walk. Healthy Teen Network is devoted to making a difference in the lives of teens and young families. It is a national organization focused on adolescent health and well-being with an emphasis on teen pregnancy prevention, teen pregnancy, and teen parenting.

Have been a board member for 5 years and have been deeply impressed that HTN is a leading vocie in parenting teens and teen pregnancy prevention. While the latter has many needed voices, the former is really a niche that HTN has appropriately and expertly filled.

Have known HTN since around 1999, when the were still NOAPPP. They put on a great annual conference that is really without peer as a regular venue for getting evidence-based programming for teens into the hands (and hearts and minds) of the actual educators who work with teens everyday. These conferences and many other resources also reach policy makers, managers, funders, and researchers. I've since served on their board and think they are a

This organization is outstanding! Their technical assistance and traninng knowledge and skills have greatly benefited us in developing evidence-based programming in our community. I was able to receive top-notch training for my staff and supportive assistance with implementing a curriculum in a school setting. My staff was very appreciative of the guidiance and help.

As a pediatrician caring for very young teen mothers in 1992, I stumbled across HTN, then known as the National Organization on Adolecent Pregnancy and Parenting (NOAPP). I was so grateful to find a group of professionals that understood me and the patients I served that I joined immediately and also over the next years became involevd with leadership of the organization. I have watched the organization grow and evove and become the most important national organization for prenant and parenting teens. Kudos to Pat Paluzzi and her team- awesome work!!

HTN is a wonderful medium for networking, learning about science based approaches, disseminating general information and research, and has introduced us to new partners around the nation. I continue to find new and valuable resources from following them on Twitter.

I have found HTN to be a great medium for networking, learning about science based approaches, disseminating research, and making new partners around the nation. I have brought home information from the conferences and disseminated to concerned advocates throughout the state. The information gleaned from the HTN conferences is trustworthy, relevant, and useful. I believe this organization not only advocates for youth but also guides others to serve as advocates for teens.

Healthy Teen Network conducts outstanding training for youth serving professionals on topics such as logic model development, evaluation basics, adaptation and fidelity and Getting to Outcomes.
