Causes: Emergency Assistance, Health, Health Care, Human Services, Public Health
Mission: Community Dental Health’s mission is to provide a Dental Home for all low income, uninsured and underinsured persons needing assistance to obtain low cost or free dental services. We believe oral health care is important to overall health care for sound body, mind and spirit.
Target demographics: low income, un-insured, under-insured people who need help affording dental care. Our target populations: Veterans, vulnerable elderly and adults
Direct beneficiaries per year: 1800 poor Veterans, elderly and all people in need
Geographic areas served: Community Dental Health believes no person should live their life in pain that is controllable. Every day we see people in advanced disease and neglect because they cannot afford or get to a dentist. We provide honest, ethical care focused on individual wants and needs.
Programs: basic dental care to include: preventive oral hygiene care, periodontal therapy, fillings, extractions, partial and full dentures. We will provide second opinions for people who sought out dental care and were left with a treatment plan few can afford.
