Causes: Adult Education, Education, Job Training
Mission: This program is needed in order to curb the high juvenile delinquency rate in Sunnyvale and decrease the number of young adults who enter gangs as a sense of belonging to something important. Our mission is to provide youth with the opportunity to acquire new job skills and gain employment. The CCS Center will provide employment counselors for those young people who continue to struggle with developing the skill sets needed to secure their future. This is one important critical aspect of our Job Training program in that young adults are not allowed to be hopeless without no counseling support that many young adults need because of the myriad of problems facing them in their personal and home lives.
Programs: CCS Center is a newly established 501 C (3) non-profit organization dedicated to training troubled youths with the necessary skills for employment opportunities. However, other objectives include reducing the crime rate here in the City of Sunnyvale through this program. By doing so, we will either establish or re-establish self-esteem and self-confidence among these youths. It will influence them to better their lives through the training offered by this program. Our goals are threefold: 1) Provide job training in Technology Education Services, Basic Education Services, Cultural Education Services, and Consulting Services. 2) Graduate between 120 and 240 students each year. 3) Provide instant jobs for all graduates.
