Programs: Hydrogen fuel cells: the usc-columbia fuel cell collaborative was formed in 2005 by the university of south carolina, the city of columbia, engenuitysc and the south carolina research authority to position columbia, sc as a leader in hydrogen fuel cell inovation and technology. The combined investments of regional partners have seen tremendous growth in this industry. Since 2005, more than ten new companies have been formed or relocated into our region as a result of the fuel cell collaborative.
