Mission: To provide funding for colorado-based golf organizations and programs that use golf to build important life skills and character, with an emphasis on instilling hard work and self-reliance in young people.
Programs: See schedule oyouth/player development: the foundation supports programs and organizations that develop future generations of golfers. This includes basic introduction to the game through its support of the colorado golf association and co section of the pga's golf in schools program and identifying, supporting and promoting the most dedicated and talented players through the hale irwin elite player program run by the colorado golf association. More than 10,000 students received instruction in 2017 through golf in schools and 18 players participated in the elite player program.
see schedule ocommunity partnerships: the foundation supports programs and organizations who wish to introduce golf to those who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience all this great game has to offer. Through community partnerships the foundation creates an environment where kids have fun while developing skills that build self-esteem and reinforce ideals like honesty and fair play. In 2017 funding from the foundation helped support partnerships serving more than 275 kids with the colorado golf association, cherry creek & aurora special olympics (38 participants), big brothers/big sisters (100 participants), boy scouts of colorado (4 scouts), semper fi (16 adults), hopekids (20 participants), golf in clubs (100 participants).

The foundation is achieving this through its support of the solich caddie & leadership academy, the annual caddie summit and grants to other caddie programs throughout the state.
