Mission: First green foundation serves as a catalyst to impact the environmental, economic, and social well-being of the communities in which we serve. This results in focusing on sustainability with a "triple bottom line" for people, the planet, and shared prosperity.
Programs: Charitable grants and allocations -(1)lake county water authority: $50,000 toward acquisition of 18+ acres of environmentally sensitive land in the "bear track reserve" next to lake norris & located in the wekiva-ocala greenway. (2)embry-riddle aeronautical university: $3,000 to the solar decathlon team, an international competition that challenges collegiate teams to design, build, and operate a net-zero, solar-powered house in a 22 month period. (3)art of medicine foundation: $10,000 for gala sponsorship for research into traumatic brain injuries. (4)eustis high school: $500 for recycle project for environmental club.
