Citizens for 1 provides a means for all individuals and groups to voice their opinions and take action in the rebuilding process of new orleans and greater louisiana. The organization promotes better, more responsive, ethical standards, as well as accountability and transparency at all levels of government.
Programs: Citizens for one greater new orleans has been actively engaged in the rebuilding process in new orleans. It has created a coalition to address violent crime. It has continued its advocacy for systemic reforms in the educational system in orleans parish. It has also supported the ethics reform legislation passed by the state legislature.
