Programs: Supplied health and rehabilitative care to more than 1700 elderly, disabled, homeless adults (including veterans) and their families inthe tri-state and south florida areas. Provided basic needs to the above individuals, which included volunter nurse/nurse practitioner visits, case management, food, clothing, personal and medical care services, housing and pet care assistance. The lunch bag program expanded and provide over 1040 sandwich bags in 2017. Supported hurricane and flood relief efforts in south florida and texas with donations of clothing, food, personal care, medical and pet care items to affected families. Expanded current programs focused on the underserved in dearborn county, indiana to ripley county and the town of rising sun. Assisted seniors, homeless, underprivileged children, high school students, those in juvenile detention and other incarcerated individuals upon release. Efforts included drug education, prevention and job training programs. A wood working program coordinated by a paraplegic man in lawrenceburg and a landscape/maintenance job training program enabled high school students to learn wood working, landscape, maintenance and trade skills leading to earned income. Set up an adaptive sewing program which provided clothing modifications for 50+ people who sustained a stroke or had arthritis and could not dress themselves. Modifying their clothing with velcro enabled them to be more independent. Provided donations and financial support to other non-profit organizations assisting them to meet their respective mission, goals and objectives. Initiated efforts to recruit a direct and grant writer/fund raiser to assist with growth and program services. This is a top priority for the next fiscal yearo
