Mission: Our mission is to help set artist/entertainers and other young people and adults free by getting spiritual and individual truth chronicled on the theatrical stage as well as the various stages of life. We believe in the biblical teaching that by "knowing the truth-that the truth shall set you free," and, we have seen and heard the spoken word of truth do exactly this. Thus, while "Chronicling the truth on stage" is our motto, our full slogan is "Setting People Free by Chronicling the Truth on Stage. The product of our arts/entertainment productions and educational programs is freedom, freedom established through our chronicled truths. Freedom from obstacles and barriers, and points of release and expansion for the individuals' creative spirit, their brilliance, and infinite potential. One could say in a sense that art and entertainment are truths. For they are known to set people free. Joy and laughter are releases, they relieve stress, cheer people up, boost morale, and expand a person's sense of space. Understanding and being understood is a release. Seeing a play, a picture or photograph, hearing a story, poem or song that seems to strike a chord in your soul that seems to be telling your life's story, some part of your own personal truth, that experience is extremely liberating. Knowing that is your song, your picture, your play, your story that set some other soul free, frees you. We plan to implement guidance, administrative, and training methods which serve and are compatible with our mission, vision and purpose. This will permit people from all religious, spiritual, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds to participate in a variety of high-quality, creative and educational programs which COTP will provide.
