Mission: To inspire, train, and connect christians who seek to bear witness to the kingdom of god by reclaiming and restoring under-resourced communities.
Programs: Events and gatherings:christian community development association (ccda) hosts a national conference each year, drawing thousands of people to share in best practices of christian community development. Includes lectures and workshops from experts and scholars.
biblical justice - advocacy & public policy: ccda has a long-standing commitment to the confrontation of injustice. Living and working in our communities gives us a unique lens to the pain and systemic injustices that impact those we care about. Sharing jesus' compassion and his commitment to kingdom justice is the origin of our advocacy and organizing. While we recognize that there are many injustices that need confrontation and are supporting those issues in an active way, as an association we are strategically working on the following three platform issues: immigration, mass incarceration and education reforms.
membership services:organizations register to become part of ccda's network of christians who seek to bear witness to the kingdom of god by reclaiming and restoring under-resourced communities. Membership benefits include event discounts, training discounts, on-line cirriculum, networking opportunities, strategic consultations and assessments, member fourms,and more.
resources and training: ccda practitioners teach a variety of classes and workshops. Includes immersion, intensives, cafes, and more.
