Mission: To provide each child with a unique and individualized educational, therapeutic experience which will lay the foundation for the future as a capable and productive member of their community
Programs: Children at play provides educational & therapeutic services to preschool children (2. 7 to 5. 0 years old) with developmental disabilities. Children at play works with children in both self contained and integrated classrooms, with the goal of helping to mainstream children once they reach school age. In addition children at play provides evaluation services, related service only, seit, and 1:1 aide services. During 2015, the school worked with approx. 60 developmentaly disabled children on an ongoing basis and performed approx 975 evaluations. In addition, children at play is committed to educating parents to understand and advocate for the special needs of their children throughout childhood,adolescence, and adulthood. Children at play also works with parents to continue to be a resource to their children outside of the classroom environment.
