Cheshire Moon puts up productions that rival Broadway. By far the best theatre I've seen on the West Coast!

Thanks to Cheshire Moon, and their Crimson Square Program and Writer's Lab, I had the incredible experience of helping to produce two incredible performances in 2019. I also have been kept sane by their ongoing writer's lab, which has provided a much needed creative outlet during the Pandemic and lockdown. They are the best!

Cheshire Moon takes great care to make sure their events run smoothly. They are professional, hard working, and thoughtful. I've been honored to attend 5 events so far. I look forward to the next ones!

I have watched this organization over the past 5 years in it's pursuit to engage, enrich, defend, encourage and nourish the dance community and the people involved in it. I am honored to have danced as well as put my work on the Dancescape stage and worked closely alongside Jamie Gregor. She embodies the truest spirit of togetherness, compassion, encouragement and deep love of the art of dance and by extension everything she works on and touches turns to gold. Cheshire Moon is a beautiful picture of support, community enrichment and leader in our dance community in using art to inspire change.

Cheshire Moon not only gives back to the community but it also unites the community through the arts. At a time where art programs in schools seem to be the first thing to get cut, the proceeds raised by Cheshire Moon helps to keep these programs in place. Its been wonderful to see the professional art community come together to raise money for its future.

From the first Dancescape show I attended in 2008 to now, I've watched Cheshire Moon continue to expand and grow. The impressive thing about this organization is not only the growth in terms of quantity of events, but in the quality of the engagement when it comes to both fun and financial impact. Cheshire Moon is truly a well-rounded NPO that looks at the big picture of service in the context of cause & community engagement. This is one worth being part of, whether from a volunteer, sponsor, or attendee's perspective.

The state of arts programs being available to all the young people who seek them is constantly being challenged by under-funding and lack of community support. But it was been proved time and time again that children who explore their creativity continue to excel in life. Cheshire Moon is unswervingly dedicated to expanding the opportunity for SoCal youth to engage in the arts. There is a real camaraderie between the students in Cheshire Moon programs and events, and also an incredible bond between them and their dedicated and incredibly professional and talented instructors. Keep up the good work!

I've had students perform in Cheshire Moon productions as well as receive funding for my classrooms from the organization. It's top notch ~ connecting dancers with dance classrooms and providing much needed support for dance students. Love this organization whole heartedly.

The fundraisers I have been to that Cheshire Moon puts on are not only fun, but are for such a great cause! With many schools cutting back on music programs, it's non profits like this that are super vital to letting kids express themselves.

I have been fortunate to support this organization by donating my time to help promote their events. Jamie Gregor is extremely dedicated to their mission and through that dedication and passion, she is really making a difference. I've volunteered and attended several Cheshire Moon charity events. They are doing an amazing job of promoting dance and the arts. We were lucky to partner with Cheshire Moon for a family program where hip-hop dancers taught kids and adults dance moves inspired by sculpture. From our first meeting, Cheshire Moon’s dedication to the program and response to our needs was overwhelmingly positive. Cheshire Moon’s roster of incredibly talented, committed, and passionate teachers and artists is one that cannot be found elsewhere. It is clear they are committed to dance, education, and community.

This year we had the opportunity to work with the dance program. Our students loved the experience and are looking forward to participate in it again.

Cheshire Moon's mission of increasing access to arts education and performances is a noble one. And I have seen firsthand just how the organization is effecting positive change in kids' lives.
You cannot help but to feel a visceral passion for dance and the arts when attending one of the group's Dancescape events. Although both the audience members and dancers range widely in age and hail from vastly different backgrounds, all are united with a common fervor and sense of purpose … raising funds for sorely-needed arts programs in L.A. public schools.
Jamie Gregor is a one-woman dynamo with a clear vision, who is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve the goals of Cheshire Moon – whether it’s teaching free dance classes to underprivileged kids or using her prowess as a networker to put together an entertaining, yet successful fundraising event.

i learned about Cheshire Moon via one of their programs, Dancescape. Watching the joy on the faces of hundreds of young dancers over the past two years of events reinforces why Cheshire Moon is so important to this community. They are making dreams come true for people who may not have even realized they could have those dreams without their help. They are helping to shape the future, and to make sure that the arts are a part of that future.

Cheshire Moon is a great non-profit organization that provided FREE dances classes to our students. Our school is a small charter school in East Los Angeles in a historically underserved neighborhood. Our students loved being able to express their emotions through dance and Cheshire has become a valued partner with our school.

I have only recently learned about Cheshire Moon, but I have been very impressed with the passion and dedication to keeping the arts alive for local students. They work very hard to create a variety of programs with opportunities for both professional and aspiring artists, students, and families. Keep up the good work!

Consistency of achieving mission is paramount for any nonprofit and Cheshire Moon has an excellent track record of achieving consistent results that directly benefit students in the arts. In this time of shrinking support for nonprofits, Cheshire Moon has managed to entrepreneurially meet this challenge annually and with low administrative overhead, which is a hallmark of best practice nonprofit management. Cheshire Moon has established itself as a best practice nonprofit and is to be commended for meeting its mission consistently and fervently.

I wish this organization was around when I was kid! For years I have seen it grow and grow and enrich the lives of children in need. It feels good to be a part of something that is cultivating creativity & beauty in life. Something that is not a necessity to most, but IMO crucial to child development.

As an educator, I know how important the arts are to children. Multiple intelligences are often overlooked in public schools. Dancescape provides teachers with the opportunity to provide their students a window to the arts. I have had an opportunity to read many of the thank you notes Jamie Gregor has received from the students she has helped. They are heart warming and exemplify the importance of this organization and the mission they represent.

I have happily volunteered for Cheshire Moon for the last four years because they not only have a vision and a mission that is vital, but they have the creativity, passion, professionalism, and savvy to put their dreams into action and see their vision through with the highest possible standards. With the right support, Cheshire Moon could be an integral force in revitalizing arts education while inspiring and nurturing the next generation of emerging artists. Ultimately, I volunteer for them, because I believe in them, the work that they do, the quality of the work they produce, and the effect they have.

This is an excellent organization. As a donor I want to be sure I am (1) supporting a worthy cause (2) able to trust the organization to use the donation as advertised . While Cheshire Moon hits the mark. A trustworthy organization that truly makes a positive impact on the local community.

I have been fortunate enough to attend several Cheshire Moon productions and fund a few events along the way. Their commitment to the arts and to the dancers that partake in their events is immeasurable. Their programs are incredibly valuable to the children, especially in this day and age where art programs seem to be the first to lose their funding. Cheshire Moon's passion to keep the arts alive allows these children and their parents an opportunity to shine and grow. It's nonprofits like this that keep children dreaming, smiling and successful. Very meaningful cause! Arts programs for children in public schools are becoming less and less available. Cheshire Moon is trying to help with that. Not only by providing a platform for dancers and artists to perform but also by funding and providing arts programs to schools in need. Many many kids and their parents are thankful for Cheshire Moon and all that it's organization does!

Cheshire Moon has created amazing opportunities to promote dance and the arts in a way that really touches lives. They produce very professional shows that are fun to attend, and they give the general public a chance to get involved in the arts in a way that gives back to the kids in our community. Cheshire Moon Inc. has provided a great platform for dancers, parents, choreographers, and spectators through Dancescape. The event allows all the above mentioned to enjoy a night of dance while raising money towards a great cause. Their mission statement includes the phrase "using the arts as a force for change in Southern California," which is exactly what they are doing and doing a great job at it. I am so lucky to have experienced the vision, motivation, and dedication that this organization represents.

I had a great time at the last Dancescape performance fundraiser at the Nokia Theater! Can't wait for the next Dancescspe NextGen show coming up soon!
