Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Human Services
Mission: To train and empower educators to dismantle patterns of racism and injustice in our schools and communities. We envision a world where all young people learn and thrive in racially equitable, liberating, and empowering educational spaces.
Programs: We lead anti-racism trainings for educators that support them in addressing race and racism with students, interrupting racism at an interpersonal, institutional and internalized level, and building classrooms, schools and educational environments grounded in racial justice. Currently we trained approximately 7200 educators, mostly in new york city and dallas. We led trainings in 91 educational institutions, and led 20 citywide trainings that were open to the public.
