Causes: Arts & Culture, Folk Arts
Mission: To enliven and expand the understanding of craft and the museum experience for all.
Programs: Professionally curated exhibitions focusing on artists of regional, national and international significance. The museum has hosted the first public exhibitions of several acclaimed west coast artists. A permanent collection of nearly 1,000 pieces that illuminate the history of craft in the western united states, allowing the museum to serve as a cultural and educational resource. The majority of pieces in the collection have been donated, demonstrating the museums importance to artists and collectors.
