Programs: Department of labor - workforce investment opportunity act (wioa) - adult and dislocated worker 2016-2017careersource pbc had 664 active adult and dislocated workers who received core, intensive services and various types of assessments to assist them with career choices. 142 individual training accounts (ita) were issued encumbering $1,083,657. In addition, 22 trainees were enrolled in the on-the-job training (ojt) program and 102 workers participated in employed worker training (ewt) for a total of $225,438 reimbursed to employers. A total of 277 wioa adult and dislocated workers exited with a positive outcome of employment.

Our programs include career exploration, financial literacy, leadership training, credential attainment and paid work experiences. Over 95% of our young adults who exited the program had positive outcomes.
