Causes: Education, Scholarships, Scholarships & Student Financial Aid
Mission: The charity funds three professorships at lsu through an endowment set up at lsu foundation. They fund one professorship from the department of petroleum engineering, one from the geology department and one from the law and mineral institute. Once a professor is chosen, the professorship remains with that professor until they retire. Lsu will nominate someone to fill his or her place.
Programs: Funds are contributed to the campanile endowment which is owned by the l. S. U. Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. Earnings of the endowment fund professorships and scholarships at louisiana state university that focus on oil and gas topics.
