Mission: Cameronanswers strives to initiate development in cameron parish in order to rebuild, sustain and grow the communities, families, workers, visitors and commerce this parish must have to thrive.
Programs: Our master research summary helped us form the framework for next actions. This master plan suggested seven distinct projects that our cameronanswers group and community leaders in cameron parish, believe will accomplish our vision. Since publication of the master plan, cameronanswers has focused on two projects; 1)creation of a mixed-use boat launch/marina/water taxi/rv park/restaurant; and, 2)creation of a fresh grocery/fuel-stop "super convenience store" with fast food, bait, possible sheriff's sub-station and visitor's welcome center. Both projects are still in the planning stages awaiting funding, among other things.
