Mission: The Cambridge Symphony Orchestra is a diverse group of adult amateur musicians dedicated to performing good music at concerts in and around Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. The orchestra is also committed to creating a relaxed atmosphere in which its members can experience the fun and excitement of learning this music. Musicians pay a small membership fee to help defray costs. In addition to public concerts, outreach concerts by both the full orchestra and the CSO Chamber Players are brought to area schools, community centers, and elderly housing for audiences with limited access to live, orchestral music.
