Mission: Calvary Chapel Austin in Austin, Texas is affiliated with Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, California. This church started in June 1991 with the purpose of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ to people in Austin. We meet on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings where we have a time of worship and Bible teaching. Calvary Chapel's main mission is to win people to Jesus Christ, equip them with sound Bible teaching and send them into their neighborhoods, places of employment, many of the neighboring states and to countries beyond the United States to share Christ with other people who do not know him. We have programs geared to specific people groups like ministry outreach for teenagers, the college campus, single people, for men, women and families. We pray and support missionaries in countries outside the United States who are sharing the gospel of Christ.
