Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: The mission of the california society of enrolled agents is to empower, engage, and advocate for california enrolled agents. Csea is the innovative influence and dynamic voice for taxation in california.
Programs: Super seminars: this is an educational conference providing 24 sessions over three days. Offered in las vegas in may 2017 and in reno in june 2017. Education sessions cover a variety of topics and educational levels. Conference includes an exhibit hall for vendors of tax-related goods and services, as well as booth space for government tax agencies and membership services. Member networking activities are also included. This program serves approximately 1,000 attendees, of which the majority are members.
member services: this program encompasses a range of services for 3,032 members and 19 local chapters. It includes liaison and advocacy activities with state and federal tax agencies; outreach to legislators at the state level; and communication to members regarding all matters affecting their profession and practices, utilizing a variety of methods including email newsletters, an electronic magazine and website.
public information awareness: the purpose of this program is to provide information to the public that promotes awareness of the enrolled agent professional designation through activities that include an annual tax help day event; marketing campaigns through various platforms; and taxpayer resources that are available on the csea website.
