Mission: CA-FAM III is a neighborhood-based small business situated in the Marshall Heights Community in northeast Washington, DC and west Baltimore, MD. From 1996 to 2001, it participated in The Greater Washington Board of Trade's Community Business Partnership/Washington, DC BusinessLINC Project. Organized in 1972, CA-FAM III has engaged in various disciplines, over its twenty-seven (36) year history. Some of its primary disciplines and significant outcomes have included performing arts presentations, art exhibitions, print and electronic publishing, humanities-based projects and cultural arts and genealogical research discipline development. As CA-FAM III, Inc. embarks on a new journey in the 21st century, we continue the process of information transference with the end-goal of empowerment through information. Technology has been and continues to be incorporated in our projects through the use of photography, documentary video, electronic publishing and information distribution over the Internet.
