Programs: By linking international spending to local enterprise in post-conflict countries, the peace dividend marketplace (pdm) projects create jobs, generate tax revenue and develop local marketplaces - all of which support economic recovery and the restoration of stability. The peace dividend marketplace projects in afghanistan, liberia, myanmar and mozambique offer the following services: 1) local supplier directory and business verification; 2) tender distribution services; 3) business match making; 4) training; and 5) market information and advocacy. The financial assistance program assists small businesses in developing countries gain greater access to financing and much needed capital.
