Our school was thrilled to be selected to receive a worm bin for our TK program from Let's Go Compost. The sleek, compact design made it perfect for keeping right in the classroom, and it was very easy to assemble. The included coco coir provided excellent bedding for the worms, and the coupon for the worms themselves was such a thoughtful and welcome addition. When we first introduced the worm bin and worms to the students, a few children initially responded with “Yuck!” However, by the end of the lesson — after observing the worms up close and learning about their important role in composting and soil health — the students were genuinely excited and eager to check on them. The worm bin has already become a wonderful hands-on learning tool that encourages curiosity, responsibility, and environmental stewardship in our classroom.

EED is a grassroots organization providing resources to remote communities. They make every donated dollar go far, since no one is paid.

God’s Way Foundation Inc, is wonderful I applied for the free Bible program and was approved. The whole box is wonderful, I’m soo excited to have a physical Bible. I was sent a email with tracking number Definitely worth the wait.

Fiorenza's Food for Friends is an incredible organization with a mission that genuinely makes a difference. The care, integrity, and dedication behind everything they do is evident, and their work to fight hunger through education and access to food is impactful and necessary. I’m honored to be connected to an organization that truly puts people first.

CRI is a fantastic organization. Before I started working in recycling, their website and many reports were a tremendous resource for learning about the field. Now that I'm working full-time in the same sector, I get to see the great impact they have in states all over the country and am proud to support their work.

I stood side by side with the CEO of Noble Works Thrift Store, packing boxes of food, essentials and clothing to give to tornado, hurricane and fire victims. The Ceo talked to the victims about the lord, their needs, and prayed with them. Gave them hot meals, warm clothes, blankets, sleeping bags, flashlights, shoes, coats and hope. We need more people like her to help those whom can't help themselves or having a crisis of their own. Many people fall so far down and can't see a way back. She gives them encouragement, self esteem and a future to look forward to. This is a wonderful nonprofit and ministry. Mrs Barnett

I love donating to the Goodwill. I'm grateful to have a place to bring things that could be useful to other people.

Low key an insidious and sort of evil “non profit”. SCRAP has a history of discriminatory treatment of their employees. They hire young, queer, and disabled people who they can more easily take advantage of, expect them to do SO much work while disregarding their needs and experiences. This operation profits off of an image of being community and sustainability centered while in reality, it doesn’t seem to at all consider these things in its functionality and execution of its "mission". This place has very little, if any, compassion for the communities it profits off of. The CEO doesn’t even live in Oregon or ANY state where a SCRAP Creative Reuse operates from. How can a non profit be successful when it is being ran by an absent entity at the top of the hierarchical pyramid?

Free IT Athens is a great organization with a very unique mission that provides needed services to the community and I really enjoyed the time I spent volunteering there.

Here at Safe Passage, we assist survivors of domestic violence in gaining back control of their lives and increasing their safety. Some survivors do not have access to a phone or a phone that is not in the control of their abuser. The phones we get for the survivors help with safety and rebuilding their lives. They have direct contact with prospective landlords and employers. Most importantly they have a means to increase their safety, with a phone without harassment and treats from their abusers. Before working with 911 CELL Phone Bank, we had very little resources to provide these phones to survivors. This program has increased the safety of several survivors and may even have saved lives. Good Neighbors Group has been a true blessing to our organization. Their Souper Bowl Food Drive, which is a friendly food drive competition between neighborhoods, has been a great help! The food that comes in during that drive helps fill our pantry shelves for many months of the year. <br><br>In addition, GNG does an excellent job at “helping the helpers”. In several cases they have helped us fill an important client need that falls just outside our work - helping in situations that don’t fit other organizations’ services. <br><br>They have also helped us spread our need and connect with others in the area. <br>

Sustainable Hudson Valley has been a key partner of the City of Kingston and the Climate Smart Kingston Commission for years, partnering on Solarize campaigns, hosting Kingston Repair Cafe's and Refrigerant Drives, Hudson Valley Climate Solutions Week, and with the planning for the Reuse Innovation Center. Their drive and dedication to all things sustainable in the Hudson Valley is poignant, timely and necessary. They are a key lynchpin to making sure the Hudson Valley and it's residents are keeping up with the Energy Transition and the constantly changing climate and state of affairs. They are innovative and relevant but most importantly, a household name that embodies the critical action needed in this region.

THIS EXPERIENCE HAS CHANGED ME AND MY KIDS LIFE FROM BEING HOMELESS AND HAVING TO ALL SLEEP IN THE SAME BED EVERY NIGHT AND ALL THE OTHER STUFF WE HAVE BEEN THROUGH THIS IS ONE OF OUR BIGGEST BLESSINGS WE HAVE RECEIVED AND I CANT EXPRESS HOW THANKFUL AND GRATEFUL WE ARE THAT WE MADE IT THIS FAR AND HOW BLESSED WE ARE TO NO THAT THERE ARE PPL IN THE WORLD THAT BLESSED MY FAMILY WITH THIS BEAUTIFUL HOME THAT WE HAVE I CANT EXPRESS HOW I FEEL BECAUSE IM BEYOND THANKFUL FOR EVERYTHING THAT WE HAVE AND THE PPL THAT MADE THIS HAPPENED FOR US WE ARE SO GRATEFUL FOR EVERYTHING.

I first stumbled upon art of recycle in 2017 and immediately fell in love! An amazing mission that has so many meaningful and beneficial purposes. I don’t get down to Ephrata very often. Now only making it once a year. But I follow art of recycle on their socials and share their information. If I lived closer, I would definitely be volunteering there. The organized rooms are so impressive and a crafters dream! I just bought their book and saw the chapter that talked about this site so I wanted to make sure I contributed with a review. I wish every town had a center like this!

I work for an organization that benefits from the dedicated work of SEE Turtles. They support our beach clean ups and sea turtle protection programs. Their support through the years has helped us to save tens of thousands of sea turtles. They are an efficient organization, sending most of your donations straight to the field to help sea turtles. We feel so lucky to work with them.

I had excess inventory that needed a good home and GiveNKind made it so simple for me to find one! I truly appreciate their research, dedication and professionalism to empower my small business to give back to the community - and alleviate the burden of storage and excess goods. I find it remarkable that this all-volunteer organization provides 20,000 free books to about 2,000 elementary and middle school students from low-income, under-resourced communities of Marin. Having worked in our elementary school system, I know that many students from these communities have few, if any, books of their own at home, and how critically important it is for them to have their own books. It is beautiful to witness the hard work and dedication of all the volunteers.

I was so excited when I found Blight Bandits. We need more people who care enough to take action, and that is what this non-profit is doing. They are making a difference with their litter cleanups, knowledge on recycling, and work to rid blight from our neighborhoods. Mehiel Foundation’s efforts go beyond charity. They have invested in our future, helping us build strong, lasting foundations.

I've been involved with Rock Creek Conservancy (RCC) since it's inception in 2005. The Conservancy's focus in our local watershed -- many aspects including trash removal and invasive species control. RCC has harnessed thousands of volunteers across the watershed to help with these efforts. I previously served on the board, which continues to include dedicated volunteers with a desire to protect our precious watershed. <br><br>As the only group focused on the entire 33 miles of Rock Creek as well as associated watershed, the Conservancy works with a variety of other conservation and governmental groups in both the District of Columbia and Maryland. We meet with these groups frequently to coordination actions as well as advocacy efforts -- we organize comments and other methods of making sure the voices of our members and volunteers are heard in support of the watershed. The Rock Creek Conservation Corp introduces high school students to the issues in the watershed, providing education and hand-on conservation experience. While I haven't directly worked on this portion of RCC's activities, the results of the work and the impact on the students is substantial. <br><br>I have watched as the organization has grown from a dozen people in a living room to a multi-million dollar organization with a staff. It's an impressive organization.

They are incredible! They support the fundamental belief that freedom and self-direction leads to well-developed adults. Their youth programs focused around bicycles and computers provide invaluable life skills and experiences to thousands of youth in St. Louis, MO.

I am president of a club on campus at the University of West Georgia, Circle K International (CKI), and Keep Carroll Beautiful has been an excellent partner to our club. CKI has worked with them for years through their Adopt-a-Road program, where we scheduled roadside clean-ups. <br><br>KCB provides us with bright vests, grabbers, trashbag holders, signage, gloves, etc. They supply us with everything we need, and we take care of the rest! It is a smooth process, from scheduling to pick up the supplies to returning them. <br><br>I cannot recommend this nonprofit enough to learn more about sustainability and the importance of litter prevention and education!
