Mission: Provide for the spiritual, physical and emotional needs for hurting children and families through services of care and housing for troubled and abused children, foster care placement, counseling for hurting children and families, assistance and charitable giving to families in crisis, humanitarian and social services support for children in orphanages in other countries, and other family needs. Care is provided in a manner according to christian conduct and principles.
Programs: Bcfs served 1,005 children through its foster care program and facilitated 146 adoptions through the cps waiting texas children, foster-to-adopt, and domestic infant adoption programs.
bcfs served over 40,000 unduplicated children and families during 2017 through its domestic family, community, and church programs.
internationally, bcfs served 579 persons through foster care (458), residential care (106), transitional care (15), and facilitated 26 in-country adoptions. Through educational and vocational empowerment programs, aid and support, client assistance, and health services, bcfs impacted the lives of over 312,000 people internationally.
