Nonprofit Overview
Mission: To provide developmental and competitive youth soccer opportunities that enhance character, community, and love of the game of soccer. Bjsc will promote technical and tactical soccer skills, physical and mental development, self-confidence, teamwork, and respect of self and others, all within the spirit of the game.
Programs: Recreational: bjsc operates a fall and spring season each year for youth ages 3-16. The program is divided into age groups. At the lower age groups the emphasis is on learning technique, fundamentals of soccer tactics and sportsmanship. Teams compete in age-specific intra-club leagues through u8, then have the option of playing in a league ran by colorado soccer association called front range league. Game results and league tables are not kept. See schedule o for continuation. Competitive: broomfield blast soccer club (bbsc) is part of bjsc and provides the opportunity for competitive soccer play for advanced players age 10 and up. The teams compete in various advanced state league divisions in cys. Game results and league tables are maintained and there is an annual promotion / relegation scheme in place to balance the level of competition in each division.
