Mission: Brio integrated theatre inc teaches awareness of disabilities and infinite potential through integrative workshops[:comma:] productions[:comma:] educational programs and community outreach.
Programs: Brio s community outreach program reaches under served communities [:#wre#:] programs are limited. One of the main collaborations in this category is the bully prevention through excessive arts workshop. They use the languages of expressive arts to provide effective techniques to prevent bullying. This workshop is open to the public and free for all ages and abilities. We encourage school age children to attend in order to help them understand the bullying cycle and provide them with effective strategies that can be applied to real life.
brio s internship program aims to foster creativity new skills collaboration with others and vision. The interns represent people of all abilities and all ages. They work together by accepting each others differences believing in themselves and others working hard and lifting each other up to a well earned success.
the theatre for all program focuses on social skills understanding differences and community involvement. They incorporate theatre music and movement with an emphasis on improvisation. Activities such as moving with music mirroring each other playing with props and working together on a small informal performance piece are incorporated. These workshops are tailored to fit each participants ability and are free and open to the public.
