Programs: Bridges alliance program: affordable housing with a circle of support for low-income working households; reduces household rental burden and provides case management, as needed, with 100% of households remaining stable in housing for at least 12 months.
housing stability programs (includes housing stability subsidy program, cshs case management & prevention, flexible financial assistance, shelter diversion, and service linked housing): housing-focused case management for households experiencing homelessness or at risk of losing their housing. Bridges served almost 300 individuals during the fiscal year. Over 90% of households exiting bridges housing case-management do not return to homelessness 12 months after leaving the program. Flexible financial assistance, and a housing specialist increases housing placement success.
landlord engagement program - outreach to landlords enables partnerships that lower housing barriers for low-income households and ensures mutually successful rentals for tenants and landlords. Case management and bi-monthly home-visits give tenants extra support during their lease term and increase long-term housing stability for tenants. Five tenants and eight landlords were engaged with the program in the first year.
